Have a clear idea in your mind of what you want your site to achieve and which will be the important or most commonly visited pages.

It is often a good idea to jot down a site map showing which pages link to each other, and give your pages logical names.

Template |
Choose a design which you like and which is sympathetic to your project. Select the Template you will use then open your home page. You will find your Template ready to use.

| • Input Links |
x2cms is designed so that your common items (the website desgin template, your main links, company name and details etc) appear automatically on each page. Start by inputting these items in your homepage and you will only need to enter these items once.

| • Create Pages |
Start with your homepage and create your text, add images, links and other features. Preview your site as you edit it to make sure you are happy with the results. Once complete save your homepage and move on to create the other pagesfor your website.

| • Publish your
Website |
This is the easiest part! As soon as you Save a page it is automatically published on the World Wide Web!

| • Updating |
Log into your site, select the page to update, open it in edit mode, edit to your hearts content, Save and your page is updated and live on the www
