What is a sitebuilder?
A sitebuilder is a method of creating a web site online using only your internet browser. They commonly come with pre-designed site layouts or templates.

Why should I use x2cms?
x2cms has created the most advanced and easy to use sitebuilder on the market today. No other sitebuilder can match it for ease of use or value for money.

What is included in the Standard Package?
Virtually everything you need to create a web site! Please refer to the Features section for a full list of details.

How many pages can I have?
As many as you like! x2cms is not limited by number of pages but by storage space. Each account comes with a massive 100MB of storage space for your files.

Do I need to learn any complicated html/programming?
NO. x2cms uses an easy to use interface that resembles the toolbar in Microsoft Word or Powerpoint. It has been designed to be as easy to use as your favourite word processor. For more details please see the screenshots page.

Do I need any additional software?
NO. Normally when creating a web site you would require an editor, and ftp programme and perhaps another secure way to access your site. With x2cms everything you need is built in! The only thing you might find helpful to have is an image editor if you want to make changes to any images.

Can I use forums software?
Yes you can. x2cms Standard can use ODBC based free forums software. To use more powerful forums software such as vbulletin and phpBB you will need to subscribe to the Professional package which includes a MySQL database - the professional and ecommerce packages now also include one click install of phpBB!

How often can I update my site?
As often as you like! In addition you can also provide other people with usernames and passwords so that they can also update your site as and when required.

Can I use frontpage extensions?
Yes you can. Frontpage extensions are enabled on our servers.

Can I have a database?
Yes you can use MS Access databases. MSSQL databases are available for an additional fee and the Professional package includes 5 MySQL databases as standard.

Can I use forms?
Yes, of course. x2cms includes a built in form builder to create forms. We also provide a number of standard forms such as "Contact Us" and "guestbook" that you can easily add to your site.

Where can I get more help and information?
x2cms provide help and support 24/7. You can find help from our support centre, FAQ's, forums, knowledge base and you can contact us directly on MSN and ICQ.

Can I use x2cms without a domain name?
Yes you can. A uniques domain name is included in your subscription - e.g. www.mysite.x2cms.com.

Can I have multiple domain names?
Yes, you can purchase and add additional domain names.

Can I have multiple sites?
The only way to have multiple sites is to have multiple subscriptions - but you can add multiple sites to your account easily.

Can I use Flash on my site?
Yes. x2cms includes an "Add Asset" feature that allows you to add Flash or specific html code such as .asp snippets etc.

How do I edit images?
You will need an image editor software programme, a range of free and paid for products can be found onhe internet..

How do I track visitors to my site?
x2cms comes complete with Web Statistics to track all your stats.

How many email addresses can I have?
Up to 5 email addresses with the Standard package. You can add, remove and manage your email addresses through your control panel.

How do I add new email addresses?
This is done through the control panel. Please refer to your signup email for instructions.

Can I change my template?
Yes, you can change your site Template design at any time and you will not lose the content in your pages. Content you have already created will be saved in your new template. You may have to re-enter your Links.

Where can I get a design for a custom site?

I have purchased a template elsewhere, can I use it?
Yes you can. Please refer to our x2cms assist service for additional services.

Can you design a custom template/design for me?
