What is an Affiliate Scheme?
An Affiliate scheme is a revenue sharing system, where "affiliates" carry banners or text adverts on their websites and refer customers to x2cms. If the customers sign up, we pay a percentage of the total sale to the affiliate who referred the customer.

How do I earn commission and what percentages do I get?
Each time you refer a visitor from your website that signs up with x2cms we pay you 35% of the sale made. If the sale is a monthly account, we pay you 35% of the recurring fee every month. If it is an annual account we pay you 35% of the total annual rate. x2cms pay lifetime fees, so if your referal remains an x2cms customer for 10 years, we continue to pay you commission for 10 years!

Standard percentage for all x2cms website builder packages including ecommerce is 35%. The only exception is x2cms Assist packages or Custom design referals, which are paid at 10%. However, the average order for an assist package or custom design is $800 - so the revenue is still substantial.

What does 3 tier mean?
Three tier means you can sign up or refer other affiliates. These affiliates (the second "tier") will also earn you commission at a flat rate of 5%. Affiliates signed up by your second tier (the third "tier") will also earn you commission at a flat rate of 5%.

Do I need to have an account with x2cms ?
No, anyone with a website can become an affiliate.

I live in Europe/Canada/Asia, can I still be an affiliate?
Yes, anyone can be an affiliate of x2cms.

How do I know if I have referred a sale?
On each sale you make you will receive an email, you can also log in to the affiliate centre and check on your sales at any time.

Why are there different commission rates?
Assist packages and custom design require additional setup and work from our staff, therefore the commission available is lower.

Can I modify the banners you provide ?
No, modifying our banners will void any commission due to you. However, if you have an idea for a banner, or have made a banner you think would be successful please email us at support@x2cms.com and we will approve it for your sole use.

When do I get paid? And how ?
Total commission for each month (e.g. the 1st to the 31st) is paid on the 5th of the following month. Payments are generally made with paypal at no charge to you, however you can choose to be paid via check or wire transfer (subject to a $10 charge unless the amount is greater than $500).

What is cookie lifetime?
When you refer a visitor to our site, we place a cookie on their machine. This cookie will not expire for 365 days, allowing you a full year for that visitor to sign up with x2cms so you can still earn commission.

Can I have more than 1 affiliate account ?
No. Anyone found abusing the system will have all commission voided. We monitor IP's very closely..
